PouchVENUE Integration with Mews

PouchVENUE has integrated with third-party Property Management Softwares to provide the ease of use of our cashless and guest management solution. The integration allows users to seamlessly and efficiently process their guests' bookings from their PMS provider to PouchVENUE cashless. 


With the integration, you can process your Mews guest bookings in PouchVENUE, post bills of postpaid guest transactions to your Mews account, and track your guests' prepaid transactions.


How to Integrate your Venue toy your Mews Account


Users can integrate their PouchVENUE account to their Mews property management software account. Reservations will be pulled from their Mews to their PouchVENUE Bookings.


How to Connect Mews to your PouchVENUE Account

  1. Log in to your PouchVENUE account. 
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Click "Connect" on Mews Property Management Software.
  4. Select "Allow Access"
  5. Enter the Access Token. 
  6. On your Mews account, add dev@pouchnation.com.


How to Find your Access Token

  1. Go to your MEWS Dashboard. 
  2. Go to Main Menu > Marketplace. 
  3. Search for “PouchNATION”, click and “Explore” then “Connect Integration”. If PouchNATION is already connected, proceed to the next step. 
  4. Look for “Pouchnation” in My Subscriptions and click “Edit”
  5. Click the key icon on the upper right corner, then copy the access token. 






How to Disconnect your Mews Account


User may also disconnect their Mews account. Disconnecting or changing access token will not affect and remove the previous bookings.

  1. Log in to your PouchVENUE account. 
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Click "Disconnect" on Mews Property Management Software.




How to Configure your MEWS Account for End of Day Procedure

When doing the end-of-day procedure, pre-paid transactions are pushed from your PouchVENUE account to your MEWS account. Please note that you would have to do process the End of Day reports on your PouchVENUE Dashboard at least once a week. 


1. Log in to your MEWS Account

2. Go to Settings

3. Click on Property

4. Select Accounting Configuration

5. Change the Accounting editable history window to 7 Days
