Ban list shows the list of the banned tags in the Venue. Lists are sorted by the latest banned tag’s date and time. Users can also search for a banned tag by searching its Tag UID.
HOW TO BAN A TAG?
By clicking the 'Ban a Tag' button and searching the Tag UID, venue managers will be able to see the current person the tag has been issued to and be able to ban the tag.
Managers can choose two reasons why the tag is being banned or can input a custom reason from 'other'.
HOW TO UNBAN A TAG?
By clicking the menu of the banned tag from the list, venue managers can unban a tag. Unbanned tags will be removed from the Ban List.
HOW DO YOU KNOW IF A TAG IS BANNED?
Banned Tags in the venue dashboard synced to the venue application will be blocked upon scanning or making transactions. Two banned tag modals will be displayed as seen below:
The first banned tag modal will be displayed when the venue app’s data is updated while the second modal will be displayed when the venue app is outdated for more than 5 mins.
Venue App that is updated for less than 5 mins will write whether the tag is banned or unbanned based on the latest synced ban list. The tag can still be scan via Manage Tag to view the tag’s info.
- Ban checking for check-in is not included for now as it could increase the potential for tag tearing/check-in errors.
- Banned tags can still be cleared in Venue App’s clear tag. Cleared tag will be synced to Venue Dashboard and will automatically be removed from Ban List.
