Manager/staff can view available printer(s) to connect PouchVENUE device with printer can be connected through:


  • Network via LAN/Wi-FI
  • Network Manual
  • Bluetooth
  • USB cable 




For Network Connection using LAN/Wi-Fi



Select LAN/Wi-FI as your mode of connection




List of available printers connected to your Network will show on your device screen

(Device and printer should be connected to the same network)


Select the printer you wish to connect your device with.



After selecting your desired printer name to connect with.

Below screen will appear, when device is connected to the network, show searching/ loading icon



                                                 


When device’s network is turned off or not connected to the network, display below will show.

(Device WiFI should be turned on and connected to the same network where the desired printer to paired with is connected.)




When device is connected to the network and searching for available printer over network but no printer found, below display will show.

(Printer WiFi should be turned on and connected to the same network where the device app is connected to)





When both device app and printer WiFi are turned on and connected to the same network, and a successful connection between device app and Network printer has been established. below display will show.





Connecting to Network printer Manually

(Connecting to Network printer manually allows Manager/Staff to search and connect to network printers that are not searchable)



After selecting printer connection type (LAN/Wi-FI). 

Click Connect Manually, to connect to network printer using printer IP address. 


                                               



Input Network printer IP address to the search bar and click search.



Printer with searched IP address will show in the found devices.

Select the available printer on the list.




A successful connection between device app and printer will show below message.



Error Message

Below error message will appear when:


  • When a searched printer IP address is invalid 
  • The printer is not connected to the Network where the device app is connected
  • The printer Wifi is turned off





For Network Connection using Bluetooth



Select Bluetooth as your mode of connection



                                                 

       


Select the desired available printer in the list.

(Please make sure that both Bluetooth on your device app and printer are turned on, discoverable and in pairing mode) 




A successful connection between device app and printer will show below message.



Error Message

Below error message will appear when:


  • When a searched printer Bluetooth is turned off 
  • When a searched printer Bluetooth is not on pairing mode
  • When a searched device app Bluetooth is turned off


   
















For Network Connection using USB cable



Select USB as your mode of connection 




Connect device app and printer using a USB cable.


The device app will recognize the connected printer.

Select the printer name shown.



A successful connection between device app and printer will show below message.
